President Rickroll: The White House deceives the follower who and sounds stealthily

July 28, 2011 by · Leave a Comment

published: 2011-07-27 19:59:49 Did you know The White House has an official Twitter? It’s true. The President and company have more than two million followers and regularly link to pressing news stories and infographs. They’ve also started directly answering questions and comments from random internet users in a segment they call #WHChat. Ordinarily, the responses are a little dry and formulaic, but earlier today, one of them shocked the hell out of me and about a hundred thousand other curious souls. Addressing a Tweet from WiggSD about the day’s correspondence briefing being less entertaining than yesterday’s effort, the Presidential Twitter shot back…

Amy whether will Winehouse remember in 20 years?

Whether it be because unstable people are drawn to Rock n Roll or because we like our rock stars to be unstable, musicians work and thrive on some sort of alternate plane where irresponsibility is not only tolerated, it’s glorified. Some may say Amy Winehouse was a victim of this phenomenon, but the truth is she was treated differently. I suspect part of it has to do with her being a woman, but even more than that, this altered treatment existed because she took it further than anyone…

published: 2011-05-03 01:29:30 Pop phenomenon Michael Jackson has been dead and gone for nearly two years (June 25th, 2009). Thanks to our slow moving legal system, the man accused of his murder has not only yet to stand trial, that same trial is being further delayed. Dr. Conrad Murray’s lawyers have requested that the courts delay in order to prepare for new witnesses. The trial has now been delayed until September, meaning things will not even begin until two years after the singer’s death. Murray is accused of leaving Jackson unattended after administering a lethal dose of propofol to help the singer…
